Fruit blend parrot pellets in a 1 kg pack offer a convenient way to serve food to African greys, cockatoos, conures and other suitable parrots. These fruit blend parrot pellets have a consistent pellet format, so birds cannot simply pick their favourite loose seeds from a mix.

For a new bird or a bird used to a seed mix, offer a small portion first and give it time to become familiar with the pellet texture. Keep track of what is actually eaten rather than assuming that food placed in the bowl has been consumed. Remove soiled or damp food from the bowl and clean feeding dishes regularly. A bird’s feeding plan may include other foods appropriate to its species, so use the pack guidance and your avian veterinarian’s advice when deciding how much to offer. Check the bag for the full ingredient list and any specific suitability or storage instructions before purchase if your bird has special dietary needs.

When moving from another food, introduce the pellets gradually and observe your bird’s appetite and droppings during the transition. Your bird’s daily portion depends on its species, size, activity and other foods offered. Use the directions on the physical pack and seek advice from an avian veterinarian if you are unsure about its diet. Store the bag sealed in a cool, dry place and check the ingredients and best-before date on the package before feeding. Keep the opened bag away from moisture and direct sunlight, and close it securely after each use.
