Feeding Guide

• Budgie: approx. 1–2 teaspoons per bird per day.
• Refresh the bowl daily and blow away empty husks, because a full-looking bowl may hold husks only.
• Also, offer fresh vegetables and fruit 2–3 times a week and always provide clean drinking water.
• Finally, store the pack sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Yes, the small seeds suit lovebirds, finches and canaries too. However, for cockatiels we recommend our Cockatiel & Lovebird Seed Mix.

Is this a complete diet?

It works as a main daily food. For the best health, however, add fresh greens, fruit and a mineral source such as a cuttlebone.

How long does a 2 kg pack last?

For two budgies, it typically lasts around 2 months. Of course, this depends on how much they waste.

Is it suitable for baby budgies?

We made it for weaned and adult budgies. In contrast, chicks that you still hand-feed need a hand-feeding formula.
